Let me gaze into my crystal ball,my children:

Just in case something DOES happen to come to pass (like my predicting that Fusion would be in charge of Tickets to Highlander: The Celebration in Anaheim and they were and both Jim Byrnes and Peter Wingfield would be in HLIV and they are) I've saved a few predictions here. It's a wait and see proposition. But my percentages have been running pretty high. After all, I *did* have dinner with Big John in Birmingham, England during C99.

Is there any news about ADeL....

being involved behind the scenes?? He seems to work so well with AP and F. Braun.

Solstice

None yet but you're right it would be great and it is a possibility.

Depends on if there are any whips involved.

Posted by Godiva, clad in nothing but a skate key on Sunday, 10 October 1999, at 4:31 p.m.

I'll bet if there's whip work involved he'll be hired in a shot. He's the expert in his field.

I sure hope they can find a place for Anthony.

It just goes to show the quality of talent Highlander had working with it.

ADL would be great.

I'd cast him as the bad guy in a second.

Posted by Big John on Sunday, 10 October 1999, at 5:29 p.m.

In a heartbeat.

So what if he's played two other characters? Anthony is a chameleon. Consone and Kurlow could not have been more different.

HL4 needs a villain who is every bit as handsome, charismatic, and capable as Duncan MacLeod and Connor MacLeod.

HL4 needs Anthony DeLongis.

It would be AMAZING.

Perfect! Done!

K'Immie with a whip. Long layered hair and a very nice Van Dyke Beard. No scars but has two different colored eyes. (Contacts needed.)

Commodities trader who was a privateer in a former life.

Like it so far?

Ooh, goosebumps here!

So be it!

It gets better.

Posted by Godiva, clad in nothing but a skate key on Sunday, 10 October 1999, at 5:47 p.m.

I know for a fact that Anthony has a 'chain maile' whip. I don't know how practical it is as he hadn't had a chance to play with it yet....but let's say our Anthony K'Immie uses a metal chain whip. Maybe he could even take a head off with it? Or something?

BJ, are things set in stone?....

for HL4?? I think ADL would be a major asset to the movie! (and he's a nice guy too *G*). I would take the time to write to TPTB if there was even a hint of a chance that he could get cast, or even just get in behind the scenes. I think he has earned it. ADL is good to his fans. Of course it doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes as well *VBG*

Peace,

Solstice

Well, reports are (possible spoilers?)

Posted by Godiva, clad in nothing but a skate key on Sunday, 10 October 1999, at 5:44 p.m.

That they start filming Oct. 18 or thereabouts.

I'd say the script is probably pretty well set.

But if you get a chance, go seem him in A Vampire Reflects. It was very entertaining and Anthony was perfect!

The Nekkid Lady speaks the truth.

If Anthony isn't in it by now, odds are he won't be.

But there's always HL5.

According to a variety of entertainment news sources, Our Man Adrian has an option for HL5.

I don't even know what an "option" means.

But it doesn't sound bad. :)

"No one will sell me popcorn! They all run away ..."

Gee, maybe I should save those posts.

In case Anthony does HLV. With a chain whip, hair extensions and a beard, contact lenses.

I could get quite a reputation.

Was it just me?

I got the idea from both Bill Panzer and Peter Wingfield that they were not thinking of an ONLY Methos show when they talked of a Methos show. I got the idea that it would be a Methos AND Joe show. Specifically so Methos had ,someone to play off of. And that it wouldn't be ABOUT them everyweek, them being the center of an episode, but that they would be the reason that ,stories happened, stories perhaps about some guest immie or other. Never was anything said about changing the character of Methos into a hero. In fact just the opposite, keeping the character true to form.

Did I misinterpret?

Did I miss the boat?

Nope, G...I got the same "package deal" feeling...

screwball -- Thursday, 11 November 1999, at 2:37 p.m.

Well, my prediction would be:

Posted by Godiva on Thursday, 11 November 1999, at 6:44 p.m.,

"Highlander: The Methos Chronicles."

Raise your hand if you'd watch it. And remember when and from who you heard it first.

No recasting.

Posted by The Great and Powerful All-Knowing G'OZ! on Thursday, 11 November 1999, at 7:16 p.m.

Bill Panzer made his philosophy quite clear when he talked about the movie.

I think I can predict with a clear conscience that only Peter Wingfield will play Methos and only Jim Byrnes will play Joe Dawson. If they can't get the original actors they will not recast. So the new series is contingent on both financial backing and availability of the actors.

After all....instead of recasting Connor they invented Duncan.

Well.....

5-10 min of screen time out of say 110 min. of screen time can be pretty good exposure if it's the RIGHT 5-10 min.

Just think of all the episodes where Methos only has a few min. of screen time. But they are significant minutes.

And you bet Methos and Joe will be in HL:5. They'll be more prominent in HL:5.

What Big John said. With rocks. Dirt even. And Asphalt.

The best.

I'm sure COX cable will somehow carry it which means I'll get to see it.

And hearing that Ken Gord and David Abramowitz are involved is, for me, a real good sign.

Is Anthony involved still? And please tell me they'll use Roberta, even if it's as a double for Tessie.

Hey, big guy. Here's an off-track thought.

Anthony is going to Spain to be the fight/sword co-ordinator for a new syndicated show called "Queen of Swords".

Ken Gord and David Abramowitz are involved which gives me much optimism.

Wouldn't it be nice if Martin directed a few eps? And maybe they used some Highlander alums for guest spots? We all know how nepotistic the business can be.

I am so jazzed. They've already sold it to the local L.A. station that I get on cable so I'll be able to see it.

I guess I'm just a sucker for long, sharp, pointy things. Blame my Errol Flynn/Stewart Granger childhood.

No DPP. But Ken Gord is involved.

I'm hoping that they get Richard Martin to direct as many eps as they can.

My wishlist.

PW and Vp will also be on the show. Just got update today! Now all we need is Bob., posted by Fleta on

Thursday, 20 April 2000, at 11:02 a.m.

Yep. Bob would be wonderful. (Hey, Bob. How would you like a free trip to Spain? Only if your show doesn't sell. Because I'm greedy and I want BOTH shows.)

I'd also like Robert Brown involved. If Tess Santiago is a petite brunette I'd sure like Robert to double her in the fight sequences if necessary. As well as Roberta getting a part of her own.

I'd also like Richard Martin to direct a few eps. As many as possible actually. I loved his work in Highlander and I want to see more of it.

Gee, do we shoot for the moon and ask that VP be a recurring rival to Peter and villain in the show? That maybe F. Braun or Mark Ryan do a guest spot?

Am I being too greedy?

I'm with you there.

It sounded like a fascinating story and I'd love to read it.

And I remember Sean Connery saying about playing James Bond...Never again.

Never say Never Again.

I'm hoping the writer's block will sudden disolve and the story will pour forth with a natural ease. A finished manuscript in a matter of weeks. With perfect timing to coincide with renewed interest generated by the success of the movie and perhaps a new Highlander Series.

I believe in miracles too.

Plus it doesn't hurt to post it.
